Networking Fundamentals introduces students to the essential concepts, technologies, and skills used to build, operate, troubleshoot, and secure computer networks. While aligned with the CompTIA Network+ N10-009 objectives, the course extends beyond the certification requirements by providing broader coverage and deeper practical application of networking models, hardware, cabling, wireless technologies, IP addressing, switching, routing, network services, security, cloud technologies, monitoring, and disaster recovery.

Students apply these concepts through hands-on troubleshooting activities and the development of a practical network documentation portfolio, exceeding the scope of the certification objectives and strengthening their readiness for real-world networking environments.
