Course Information

OS Fundamentals is a practical introduction to operating systems and the skills needed to configure, secure, and troubleshoot modern computers. Windows is the primary platform, with macOS and Linux comparisons included where useful.

Built around the CompTIA A+ Core 2 (220-1202) objectives, the book goes beyond exam preparation by emphasizing the real-world knowledge a Desktop Support technician needs—including system administration, troubleshooting, security, networking, applications, mobile devices, remote access, and cloud tools.

The goal is simple: understand how operating systems work—and learn how to work with them.
